The Top Medic Sports Complex project, located in Al Khoud, Muscat, Oman, is part of a medical and psychological facility situated in the basement level of an existing building. By the time the project began, the construction phase of the building was already completed, and the client intended to transform this underground space into a fully equipped sports and wellness center, including a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, massage rooms, and related service areas.

One of the main challenges was designing aquatic and wellness spaces within a structure that lacked any initial provisions for such functions — no plumbing, drainage, ventilation, or even window openings had been considered. Therefore, the design process required a thorough study of the existing conditions, the creation of new mechanical routes, and a complete redesign of the ventilation and service systems to ensure both technical feasibility and architectural coherence.

The final design emphasized a functional relationship between zones, guided by user experience and operational flow, while maintaining a calm and health-oriented atmosphere. The choice of materials and color palette aimed to evoke cleanliness, freshness, and positive energy throughout the space.
